4B M300 Slipswitch – Inductive Underspeed Sensor

Available by quote

The M300 Slipswitch is a simple, self-contained inductive shaft-speed monitor with a single set point that signals when shaft speed drops 20% below normal running speed. It's used to catch dangerous slow-downs and underspeed on conveyors, bucket elevators, airlocks, mixers, fans, grinders, and many other machines.

An inductive sensor in the nose of the enclosure detects a metal target — an existing bolt head or a device attached to the shaft. During installation the M300 is calibrated to normal shaft RPM with the supplied magnet, and its internal microprocessor sets the underspeed output to trip at exactly 20% below normal speed, suitable for automatic machine shutdown.

Features

  • Single 20%-underspeed trip point
  • Self-contained, microprocessor-controlled
