Who they are
Sidney Manufacturing Company (SMC) builds dry-bulk material-handling equipment and is one of the oldest continuously operating grain-machinery makers in the United States. Founded in 1859 in Sidney, Ohio, the company has moved bulk material for the grain and feed industry through every era, from the horse-and-wagon days to modern trucking.
SMC pioneered welded-seam sheet-steel construction in its field, and more than 160 years on it still builds bucket elevators, drag conveyors, screw and belt conveyors, cleaners, and mixers, shipping nationwide and abroad. When you want handling equipment built to last, this is proven, old-world quality with a very long track record.
