4B M800 Elite Speed Switch – Inductive Zero-Speed Sensor

Available by quote

The M800 Elite Speed Switch detects belt slip, underspeed, stop-motion, low-speed, or zero-speed conditions on bucket elevators, conveyors, airlocks, mixers, fans, grinders, and other rotating machines. Totally sealed and simple to calibrate, it performs in the harshest conditions.

An inductive sensor in the nose of the enclosure detects a metal target — an existing bolt head or a device attached to the shaft. During installation, the M800 Elite is calibrated to normal shaft RPM using the supplied magnet, and its internal microprocessor sets the alarm and shutdown relays.

Features

  • Microprocessor-controlled alarm and shutdown relays
  • Dual trip points for early warning and shutdown
  • Totally sealed for harsh, dusty environments
  • Simple magnetic calibration to normal running speed
  • Works with a bolt-head target or 4B's Whirligig® mount

Models

  • M8001V10C — trip points at 10% and 20% below normal speed
  • M8002V10C — trip points at 5% and 10% below normal speed

Related accessories: Whirligig® mount (WG1-4B-4), Mag-Con™ (MAG2000), Tacho Display (TACH3V5), SpeedMaster™ (SM2).
