4B Whirligig® – Universal Shaft Sensor Mount

The Whirligig® is a fully guarded target that makes mounting motion and speed sensors simple, safe, and reliable. This universal shaft sensor mount accepts all industry-standard 18 mm and 30 mm cylindrical and DIN-style inductive sensors — including 4B's M100, M300, M800 Elite, and Milli-Speed sensors.

The sensor bolts to the Whirligig base plate, and the complete assembly mounts to the machine shaft through a 1/2 in. UNC tapped hole or connects magnetically with 4B's patented Mag-Con™ adaptor. Because the entire assembly turns with the shaft, machine or shaft vibration does not affect sensor performance.
